dc.description.abstractThis paper will present on the activities of Community Mobilization and Empowerment (CME) and Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) under the capacity building component of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (RWSSP) in Sierra Leone. The objectives are to increase sustainable access to safe water and basic sanitation, and to develop a comprehensive national framework for RWSS investments. The objective of the CME and CLTS is to empower communities to improve their hygiene and sanitation practices and to sustainably manage their Water facilities. The activities will take into account the relevance of gender and climate change issues.en_US
